The trapezoidal bridge is designed primarily for fixing photovoltaic panels on roofs covered with trapezoidal sheets. It was made of aluminum so that it is as light as possible and resistant to deformation. We can mount it directly to the roof covered with sheet metal with screws. The height of the bridge is 70mm and is at the most optimal and right distance between the roof and the solar panel. This distance prevents overheating of the device by providing adequate ventilation under the panels and at the same time protecting them from violent gusts of wind.
The bridges are lined with EPDM tape to ensure full sealing of places where direct fastenings to the tin roof are used.
When installing solar panels on the bridge, we use a sliding tab with an M8 ball stud (square nuts can also be used). Insert such a tab into the upper recess of the bridge and, positioning it in the right place, attach the solar panel to the rail with an end clamp on the extreme edges of the panel.In the case of joining multiple panels, insert the middle clamp between the consecutive panels. The use of middle clamps is necessary to maintain not only ventilation, but above all the safety of the entire installation.
Remember to choose the end and middle clamps with a height appropriate to the thickness of your panels.
